NASA’s Education Office provides educational resources across the full range of NASA activities.

The NASA Science Mission Directorate Education/Public Outreach Support Network provides contact information for themed science educational forums and broker/facilitators (translation: people who can help get you access to the right people and resources).

Informal education supporting formal education

The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) has a statement about the value of links between informal education institutions and schools. NSTA's Strategy 2005 Goals document lists as Objective 2.3 (page 8) “Implement strategies to connect informal science education to the instructional needs of teachers of science.”
